I'm Daniel Dreger — a CMS web developer and data analyst based in Evergreen, Colorado. I've built and maintained CMS-driven sites for companies like Modern Health, Optum, Rally Health, and Ossia — and I dig into data to find the story that drives the next move.
If a company website is a bottleneck — slow to update, hard to maintain, or fighting the people who use it — that's the problem I like to solve. I focus on content management systems and front-end work that put control back in the hands of the team, so the site keeps moving without an engineer in the loop for every change. I've done that across CMS platforms including WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, and Craft CMS.
The other half of my work is data analysis. After completing UC Berkeley's data analytics program (Python, Pandas, SQL, Postgres, Spark, machine learning, and Tableau), I built a series of end-to-end projects — from predictive models to interactive dashboards — that take a messy question and end at a clear, defensible answer.
Before tech, I spent years as an NCAA and championship-level hockey referee — making fast, accountable decisions under pressure with no replay. It's a strange line on a résumé, but it's exactly the temperament I bring to debugging, deadlines, and shipping.
Right now I'm looking for a role where I can do both: build and maintain the web presence, and use data to make it measurably better.
